Amelia Caldwell grew up in the San Ramon/Danville area and is a graduate of San Ramon Valley High. After receiving her credential, she began teaching in the San Ramon Valley school district in 2014. With primary experience as a middle school teacher, Amelia has taught and supported students of various backgrounds and needs, including students with anxiety, ADHD, Autism, and Asperger’s. She’s spent years cultivating curriculum and strategies to develop students’ learning to increase independence, deepen understanding of academic content, and provide specific feedback to propel students forward.

Amelia graduated with a Masters in Teaching from the University of San Francisco, where she completed fieldwork in elementary classrooms of all levels in San Francisco and in SRVUSD schools. During this time, Amelia ended her last season of professional ballet as she devoted herself to this new career.

In 2018, Amelia was honored with the Teacher of the Year award at Stone Valley Middle School. At this time, she has chosen to step out of the classroom and into private tutoring in order to accommodate being a new mother, as of autumn of 2019. Amelia’s passion for education, coupled with empathy for the challenges children face in the East Bay, has driven her excellence in private tutoring.
